Are You Just Watching

This podcast is one of my favorites on Clean Cast, they look at movies and shows from a Christina prospective. I love this podcast, because it gives thoughtful discussions on movies and TV with out bashing them to death. Instead the turn to the Bible and pick out themes and passages, that either support or point out the lack of morality in the movie or show they are looking at.

Do to a family crises all of my blogs here on Word press have been suffering. Either way I am still here, and listening to Podcast. So hopefully I will have something up later today or tomorrow between jobs.

A good clean Christen Podcast, the host talks about things like the XXX Church, Covent Eyes and more. The message is one of love and expectance, after all Jesus spent time with prostitutes and tax collectors. So lets learn new ways to bring these people into the church.

Rating: R some of the story on this wed site are too shocking for people below the age of 13. The web site also has a parental advisory warning attached to it. I plan to look at the projects on the site here and provide some commentary on them.

This is a grate podcast, for anyone who is serious about writing, like me. Or even for that writing project that your English teacher is forcing you to do. I have already listened to a hand full of the shows and have developed a healthy respect for Brandon Sanderson, Howard Tayler, and Dan Wells.

They all have a lot of wisdom and expense to share about their craft. I for one have found this more helpful then most of the resources I have looked at in the past. That might be because the people doing this podcast are writers, who speak in a way that I can understand.

HyJact’d formally the Anime Round Table and Review

PG-13 to R

I have found many a good anime, though The Anime Round Table and Review, now known as HyJact’d. I for one find this show vary enjoyable, in that the panelists will watch just about anything, and shear the honest opinions. I have also found some wonderful anime though this show and learned what to avoid.

The only thing you have to look out for, is that the panelists have a gift, for making everything dirty. And then proceeding to beat the dead hoarse into the ground. They don’t always go their, like when they are doing reviews of children’s movies.

Nobody’s Listening

Nobody’s Listening or NL Cast, is a comedy pod cast, where the hosts share funny life stories and encourage you to do the same. In the early days of the show the hosts where James and David to half brothers telling the hole story. But sadly David had to leave the show to leave the show for personal reasons.

These days its James and Trevor, thankfully the show hasn’t changed too much. But form what I have observed over the years, all of the changes, have made have been for the best. My favorite thing that they have added is the LBB of the week, it’s a chants for the hosts to complain about someone who got on their nerves during the week. But they do it in a vary tasteful way, with out insulting anyone.

What is Not My Podcast?

I have been wanting to do this for a while now and now I am! So what is Not My Podcast? it’s a place where I will be recommending and telling people about the pod casts that I know and love.
I will be using a G to R rating system. G – PG will be for pod casts that you can listen to with your kids. PG13 – R are shows that you will want to use your own discretion. depending on the age of your children or your own preferences.
I will try to post in this blog once a week or so, depending on how many pod casts, I have stumbled upon at a given time.
